Ehab and Katie met a decade ago, while working for the same company in the metal building industry. Over the years they have transformed from colleagues to friends and now business partners. A shared passion for design, strong work ethic, and desire for success developed into a mutual respect and professional bond that led to the formation of Spark Barndominium Design.
Although our company focus is on design, both Katie and Ehab have a strong background and knowledge of all things metal building, including cost estimation, fabrication and suppliers, building erection, and the process, as a whole, from start to finish. We are more than just a design company, we can help answer your questions and provide guidance from the earliest stage of your project. You are not only getting a talented team of designers, you are getting experienced professionals who have been involved in every stage of the building process throughout their careers.

Business Owner, Spark Barndominium Design LLC
With over 15 years of experience in the professional world, Katie has a strong background in business operations, accounting, marketing, cost estimation, and general construction practices. She holds a well-rounded knowledge of many industries; some of which include steel, roofing, foundation, framing, freight logistics, and material import/export.
Katie is a proud Mother to her son, Reese, Dog Mom to her Chow Chow, Chapo, and enjoys being creative in her spare time through art, literature, and photography.
